This Lesser Black-backed Gull (Larus
fuscus graellsii) was video-ed at Padre Island National
Seashore, Texas on January 20, 2000 by John and Barbara Ribble.
Note that the longest visible primary is only P7, thus P8, P9
and P10 are presumeably still-growing; sadly there are no images
of the spread wing. This is extremely late for graellsii
to be in this stage of molt - in fact I'd like to hear from anyone
who has evidence/experience of a graellsii or intermedius(from
any part of their ranges) with a molt matching or even later than
this individual:
