This Adult Definitive Lesser Black-backed-type Gull was photographed near High island, Texas on April 16, 1993 by Greg Lasley. The head shape is rounded yet not "cute"; the eye is yellow and slightly dark (rather than the very pale creamy-white of graellsii/intermedius/fuscus); the tail falls below the 4th primary tip, and the primary tips, while worn, appear to be quite small - as is the single mirror on P10 which is placed well back from the tip - about the same distance as the size of the mirror... all these are features of heuglini:
