This first-cycle possible Vega Gull (Larus [argentatus] vegae) was photographed on the Texas Coastal Plain near Galveston, Texas on February March 30, 2008.

NOTE in the image below that the double white bar on the greater secondary coverts extends to the outermost feathers of this tract:
