These two male Common Checkered SkipperPyrgus communis-types are from the tip of the Texas Panhandle in Hartley and Dallam Counties, respectively; they both have excessive amounts of white in the upperwings plus almost unmarked white underwings - I think they may be White Checkered Skipper P. (communis) albescens:
